In response to inquiries from the media, we wish to clarify Rohaizat Othman's status as an advocate and solicitor.The Advocates and Solicitors Disciplinary Board struck Rohaizat Othman off the Roll of Advocates and Solicitors on 7 March 2008 after he was found guilty of misconduct.


The Disciplinary Board's decision arose from an investigation into the complaint lodged against Rohaizat Othman by the purchaser of a piece of real property. According to the complaint, Rohaizat Othman failed to refund almost RM 161,000 to the complainant after the transaction was aborted.


Rohaizat Othman appealed against the decision of the Disciplinary Board to the High Court, and the appeal was dismissed on 12 August 2009. He is therefore legally disqualified from practising as an advocate and solicitor.


The finding of misconduct is personal to Rohaizat Othman, as the Disciplinary Board would not hold a lawyer liable for the actions of his/her law partner(s).

* Dalam tv & paper sekarang ni, ada pihak yg sibuk mensucikan calon mereka yg telah terpalit ngan najis hehehe.....Ada beberapa soalan timbul drp tindakan itu:

1. Adakah BAR atau Mahkamah Tinggi telah terkhilaf kerana menghukum seorg hero (hero konon)?

2. Apabila kita menyeleweng amanah org, penyelewengan itu tetap dikenang sebagai penyelewengan wpun wang itu dipulangkan.

3. Bagaimana mungkin hero ini dihukum jika dia tak bersalah? Sedangkan kehakiman itu juga hampir2 menjadi milik mereka?

4. Dah takde calon lain ke nak pilih Tok Din? Penyamun tarbus juga yg ko pilih hehehe......

5. Kalau calon wakil rakyat pun dah pandai seleweng duit org ribu raban, mcmana plak pak menteri ye? Juta jutanla duit diseleweng kot hehehe.........

6. Last sekali persoalannya, adakah bersumpah boleh mensucikan diri? Org yg suka2 main sumpah ni ialah geng2 penyanyak. Tak percaya tangkap budak yg curi moto, sure sumpah2 dia tak mengaku buat begitu.
